CALCE Black Leather Derby

The CALCE black leather derby brings together clean construction and genuine comfort — the kind of shoe that handles Monday meetings and Saturday evenings without drawing attention to itself.

The upper is full-grain bovine leather with a napa finish: a material that develops quietly with wear. The surface takes on a finer sheen over time, and the last gradually conforms to the foot. Black keeps the palette simple and works with the bulk of a working wardrobe — dark trousers, charcoal, navy, most of what's already there.

Construction

• Upper: full-grain bovine leather (napa)
• Sole: rubber bloc unit — grip and durability on city surfaces
• Colour: black
• Sizing: EU range

The rubber bloc sole provides enough give to make a full day on your feet manageable without the sole wearing through prematurely. No platform, no excessive cushioning — just a flat, dependable base.

CALCE is a Spanish brand with a straightforward focus on men's derby shoes built for regular use rather than the occasional outing. This model sits in the mid-range of the CALCE catalogue: honest materials, no unnecessary ornament.
