CALCE Black Leather Blucher Shoes

The CALCE X2359 is a black leather blucher for men who want a shoe that looks right without any ceremony. The calfskin upper breaks in quickly and improves with wear — this is the kind of footwear that looks better at six months than it did on day one. The blok rubber sole keeps the construction grounded and practical, whether you're crossing office floors or uneven pavement.

Construction and materials

The upper is full calfskin leather in black — one of the few colours that genuinely works across the full spread of a man's wardrobe. The open-lace blucher construction sits slightly roomier across the instep than a closed oxford, which most wearers find more comfortable across a full working day. The blok rubber sole is durable, absorbs impact without fuss, and holds up without drawing attention to itself.

Why this shoe

• Calfskin leather upper — soft from the start, improves with use
• Open blucher (derby) lacing — a more forgiving fit across the instep
• Blok rubber sole — durable and quiet on hard floors
• Black — works across office, formal, and casual contexts without effort
